How to Manage a Poppo Agency: Recruit Hosts & Grow Your Commission

Getting your Poppo agency approved takes about 15 minutes. Running it well is what decides whether you earn 4% or 20%. This guide covers the day-to-day side of Poppo agent management: finding hosts, keeping them active, building a sub-agent network, staying inside the rules and tracking what your agency earns.

1. Understand what actually moves your commission

Your commission rate sits between 4% and 20% and is reviewed on your agency's revenue over the last 30 days. That has two practical consequences:

• Consistency beats spikes. One huge week followed by three quiet ones scores lower than steady activity every week.
• Every active host counts. Your rate is driven by the combined gift revenue of the whole team, so ten hosts streaming regularly usually beat two stars streaming occasionally.

2. Recruit the right hosts

Good recruits are people who already enjoy being on camera and can commit to a schedule. Places that work well:

• Your own network first. Friends and contacts who sing, dance, game, teach or simply like to chat are easier to onboard and more likely to stay.
• Short-video creators. People already posting on TikTok, Reels or Shorts understand audiences and are often looking for a way to earn from live streams.
• Community groups. Local Facebook and WhatsApp groups for creators, students and part-time workers.

Be honest when you pitch. Explain that earnings come from viewer gifts, depend on effort, and are not guaranteed. Hosts who join with realistic expectations stay longer, and retention is what keeps your rate high.

Never approach hosts who already belong to another agency. Cross-agency recruitment breaks Poppo's rules and can put your own agency at risk.

3. Onboard every new host properly

The first week decides whether a host stays. A simple onboarding checklist for each new recruit:

1. Help them download Poppo Live and create their account.
2. Make sure they complete face verification — it protects them and unlocks host features.
3. Walk them through joining your agency under My Agency using your Poppo ID.
4. Agree a starting schedule, for example one hour a day at the same time.
5. Stay online during their first few streams to answer questions.

4. Keep hosts active week after week

Agencies are expected to keep at least 5 active hosts streaming a combined 10+ hours per week. Beyond meeting the minimum, a few habits make a big difference:

• Weekly check-ins. A short message asking how streams went catches problems before a host goes quiet.
• Share what works. When one host finds a format that earns well — a PK battle routine, a party-room theme, a time slot — share it with the rest of the team.
• Use PK battles and party rooms. They bring hosts new viewers and give quieter streamers a boost.
• Celebrate milestones. First withdrawal, best week, longest streak. Recognition costs nothing and keeps people motivated.

5. Grow with sub-agents

Once your own team is running smoothly, invite sub-agents — people who recruit and manage their own hosts under your agency. You earn the difference between your commission rate and theirs on the revenue their hosts generate.

Choose sub-agents the same way you choose hosts: people who are organised, reliable and already have a network. Share your onboarding checklist with them so every host in your network gets the same support.

6. Follow the rules that protect your agency

• Keep at least 5 active hosts with 10+ combined streaming hours per week.
• Do not recruit hosts who are already in another agency.
• One registered agency per person.
• Agents and hosts must be 18 or older.
• No promoting other apps or platforms inside Poppo Live.
• Respond to host requests promptly. Hosts can ask to leave under My Agency, and you have 7 days to respond.

7. Track earnings and withdraw

Check your agency's revenue regularly so you know where your 30-day total is heading before your rate is reviewed. Agents and hosts can both self-withdraw once they reach $10 (100,000 points), in multiples of $10.

If you ever decide to close your agency, you can request it through Poppo's Help & Feedback section. Your hosts and any sub-agents then move to your upper agent.
